Super Admin Configuration

Welcome to the Super Admin documentation, a specialized section available only for system configurators who have elevated privileges to manage the entire Galene AI Platform infrastructure.

Super Admin Access Required

Super Admin features are exclusively available to users with system configuration privileges. These tools allow you to configure platform-wide settings that affect all organizations and users on the system.

Overview

As a Super Admin, you have access to advanced system configuration tools that are not available to regular administrators. While regular admin functions (managing agents, users, roles, etc.) are covered in the main Admin documentation sections, this Super Admin area focuses exclusively on platform-level configuration and system-wide settings.

What Makes Super Admin Different

Super Admin capabilities are designed for system configurators who need to:

  • Configure platform-wide infrastructure settings
  • Manage domain and SSL certificates for the entire platform
  • Set up global SMTP configurations for system emails
  • Configure platform-level security policies
  • Access system-wide observability and monitoring tools
  • Control platform-wide maintenance and backup schedules

Available Super Admin Features

Global User Search - a cross-organization user search available from the Global Users entry in the admin sidebar. From a single table you can search, filter by status, role, or organization, and manage any user across all tenants without switching context.

Organization Management

Organization Management - Core Super Admin functionality for managing multiple organizations:

  • Organization Creation: Create new isolated organizations with custom domains and SSL
  • Organization Overview: Access and manage all organizations in your installation
  • Organization Switching: Seamlessly switch between different organizations
  • Multi-Organization Control: Complete administrative access across all organizations

Observability

Observability - System-wide monitoring and compliance tools exclusively available to Super Admins:

  • Traces: View complete conversation records, agent behavior, Generative Shield activity, and performance metrics across all organizations
  • Audit: Track who accessed which conversations for compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOC 2) with immutable access logging

How They Work Together: Traces capture what happened in conversations (user messages, agent responses, Shield interventions), while Audit logs who accessed those traces and when. Together they provide complete visibility and accountability.
