Changelog
The Changelog section provides a full history of platform releases, listing all new features, improvements, and bug fixes for each version of Galene.AI. It is available in two places: in the Admin Panel under Platform → Changelog, and in the User Settings panel under the Changelog tab.
Accessing the Full Changelog
From the Admin Panel
- Log in to the Admin Panel
- In the left sidebar, navigate to Platform → Changelog
- The full release history is displayed, organized by version and date
From User Settings
- Click on your profile icon or username in the bottom-left corner of the main interface
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu
- Click the Changelog tab at the top of the Settings panel
Reading the Changelog
Each release entry follows a consistent structure:
Version and Date — displayed as vX.Y.Z – YYYY-MM-DD
Each release is organized into sections by area of impact:
| Section | What It Covers |
|---|---|
| Admin Panel | Changes to administrative configuration, user management, and platform controls |
| User Platform | Changes visible to end users in the chat and agent interfaces |
| Global | Platform-wide changes: infrastructure, APIs, integrations, and cross-cutting improvements |
Within each section, entries are grouped as:
- Changes — new features and improvements
- Fixes — bug fixes and corrections
Release Popup Notification
Whenever a new version of Galene.AI is deployed, a release popup automatically appears both in the Admin Panel and in the user chat interface. The popup displays the release notes for the new version, so users and administrators are immediately informed of what has changed without needing to navigate to the Changelog manually.
The popup is shown once per user on the first visit after a new release. It can be dismissed and the full release history remains accessible at any time through the Changelog section.
Why This Matters
The Changelog is the primary reference for understanding what has changed between platform versions. Use it to:
- Stay informed about new capabilities that may be relevant to your users or workflows
- Diagnose regressions — if something stopped working after an update, the Changelog helps pinpoint which release introduced the change
- Plan adoption — evaluate new features before rolling them out to your organization
- Communicate updates — share relevant release notes with your team when new capabilities are deployed
